Finishes

Unfinished
The simplest framing option at Barronarts is Natural Unfinished. Your fully sanded frame is ready to be primed and painted, sealed, stained, goldleafed or finished in any manner of your choosing. Left unfinished, your frame will age nicely like any fine hardwood. All installation hardware included.
Clear Coat
Our Natural Sprayed Clear-Coat Finish works beautifully when the color and texture of the wood is desired. Multiple coats are meticulously sprayed and lightly buffed to a smooth semi-gloss sheen. All installation hardware is included.
Pickled White
Perhaps our most popular frame finish, a Pickled White Stain gently separates your work from the wall without adding conflicting colors or tones. Delicate patterns of the wood emerge from the warm white and enhance virtually any painting, whether abstract or figurative. All installation hardware is included.
Black Finish
For drama, an all Black Finish is always a good choice. Available in Satin Finish, a black border has long been the preferred choice for artists with a desire for the most impact and visual drama. All installation hardware is included.
Two-Tone
Combining a Pickled White exterior with Black interior, or Natural Clear-Coat with Black in our Two-Tone Finish can be a stunning framing option. This combination of elements is the favorite of many Barronarts customers. The joining of dark and light creates a rich environment for any work of art. All installation hardware is included.
