Floater Frames
We build custom floater frames for works on canvas and panel of any size and depth, showcasing the entirety of your art.
Floaters, unlike standard frames, do not cover the edges of a painting, giving it room to breathe. They enhance every type of work, whether figurative, abstract or conceptual.
Mass-produced, stock frames are widely available but have limited size & spacing options for your work. Barronarts custom-builds every floater frame according to your unique specifications, offering limitless possibilities. Each of our frames is truly hand-built.
About our floater frames
Barronarts uses hand-picked clear Poplar & Maple primarily, in 3 face thickness: ½” , ¾” and 1”, with the thinner ½” poplar as our best-seller. We have (10) standard finish choices, listed below. We can also provide custom colors or finishes upon request. We use no solvent-based finishes of any kind.
